Purpose of the Job:

To provide superior customer service and drive optimal turnover through excellent merchandise presentation, staff motivation, and customer-focused operations.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics


Experience:

  • Previous store management experience is essential


Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Proven management and leadership skills

  • Ability to develop and manage staff

  • Effective planning, organizing, and control

  • Computer literacy

  • Understanding of budgeting processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and profit budgets through effective resource management

  • Protect store assets, including stock, cash, physical property, staff, and customers

  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales and lay-by targets for staff; monitor and address performance issues

  • Ensure store layouts meet company standards

  • Deliver excellent customer service

  • Maintain correct administration procedures for stock rooms, markdowns, and lay-byes

  • Oversee merchandise replenishment and housekeeping

  • Manage and develop store personnel to ensure a customer-friendly and efficient environment
