Role Summary

We’re looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in Polokwane. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving daily, weekly, and monthly mobile sales targets, as well as increasing the mobile customer base. The ideal individual should be customer-focused, goal-driven, and able to represent the brand positively and professionally.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Assist customers with opening mobile betting accounts.

  • Handle customer betting-related queries.

  • Guide customers on using the mobile app effectively.

Sales & Marketing

  • Drive daily mobile activations and sales.

  • Promote mobile products, services, and campaigns.

  • Set up displays at stores, events, and promotions.

  • Ensure new customers understand and use their sign-up bonus.

Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate daily records of sales and customer interactions.

  • Assist customers with submitting correct FICA documentation (e.g., valid South African ID).

  • Ensure proper maintenance and safekeeping of mobile equipment.

Training & Development

  • Complete weekly training including Moodle, Bet Strike, Voice Note Training, and Trainers on Wheels.

  • Stay updated on product knowledge and customer engagement strategies.

Operations

  • Maintain neat and tidy work areas.

  • Roam between branches/stores as required.

  • Perform additional duties as required by the business.


What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Strong sales and persuasion skills.

  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.

  • Ability to listen and understand customer needs.

  • Self-motivation and drive to exceed sales targets.

  • Knowledge of top-up voucher (TUV) distribution and usage.

  • Understanding of different betting markets and products.


Minimum Requirements

  • Prior experience as a promoter or similar role (advantageous).

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, mobile-driven environment.

  • Must be flexible to move between various stores/branches if needed.
