Purpose of the Job

To ensure the accurate, timely, safe, and high-quality execution of fuel deliveries to customers throughout the Sasol Retail and Commercial network. This includes adherence to safety and environmental standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

Execute on-time and in-full fuel deliveries using Sasol’s fleet.
Ensure accurate completion of loading instructions (Fuel FACS and Renaissance systems).
Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle defects.
Maintain regular communication with the Logistics Command Centre for any route or delivery deviations.
Accurately complete all shipment records, including explanations for any fuel gains or losses.
Adhere to the prescribed delivery sequence to optimize route efficiency.
Minimize unproductive time and identify potential operational risks, including OHS Act compliance.
Report and log all incidents; participate in root cause analysis (RCA) where applicable.
Ensure no spillages or fuel contaminations during delivery operations.
Strictly follow all SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) procedures.
Adhere to all site-specific operational policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Licenses

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Valid Code EC (Code 14) Driver’s License
Valid Professional Driver Permit (PrDP)
Valid Dangerous Goods with Hazchem Certificate

Experience

2 to 5 years of driving experience within the petroleum/fuel industry
