Purpose

This is a Learnership Programme designed to equip participants with theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Upon successful completion, learners will achieve an NQF Level 3 certification.

The training modules include:

• Working in a team

• Safety and hand tools

• Assembly and manufacturing drawings

• Marking off and welding

• Operating and monitoring production machines

• Preparing surfaces

• Firefighting

• Operations and product dispatch

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• National Technical Certificate (N3 – N6)

• OR Matric / Technical Matric with one or more of the following subjects:

  • Mathematics

  • Physical Science or Engineering Science

  • Electrical Trade Theory

  • Mechanical Trade Theory

  • Motor Trade Theory

  • Mechanical Drawing

  • Graphical Design
