Purpose of the Role
To provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Occupational Health Centre (Platmed), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Daily Planning: Organise and execute daily tasks according to unit procedures

Document Management: Maintain accurate client records and filing systems

Client Verification: Validate client documentation including IDs and booking slips

Client Registration: Register clients for medical surveillance with accurate data entry

Electronic Records: Scan and upload documents to electronic systems while maintaining confidentiality

Roadmap Printing: Print medical roadmap documents for clients

Communication: Facilitate clear and consistent communication within the team

Client Support: Address basic queries and escalate issues when necessary

Health & Safety Compliance: Promote and adhere to safety standards to ensure a zero-harm environment
Minimum Qualifications

Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)

Advantageous: Certificate in Office Administration or related qualification
Experience
-
Minimum 1 year in a similar administrative role
Skills & Knowledge

Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills

Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

Organisational Skills: Structured workflow and documentation handling

Advantageous: Knowledge of QMED system
