Job Description

The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets through excellent customer service, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring that each customer has an outstanding experience. This role also includes full compliance with internal policies, sales processes, and legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve maximum sales targets and maintain profit margins.

  • Introduce customers to the Finance & Insurance (F&I) representative.

  • Promote accessories and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Follow the “Road to a Sale” process for every customer.

  • Maintain and update the company’s marketing system (Higher Gear).

  • Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and complies with legal and company standards.

  • Staff vehicle displays and promotional events as required.

  • Be fully informed of ongoing promotions and specials.

  • Reach prospecting and online sales targets.

  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge.

  • Keep demo vehicles clean and in good condition.

  • Ensure correct invoicing and timely delivery of vehicles.

  • No vehicle to be delivered unless fully paid and all conditions met.

  • Ensure customer introductions to key staff (Service Manager, Parts Manager, etc.).

  • Only authorized work may be billed to the company. Unauthorized work will be for your own account.

  • Additional reasonable requests from management must be carried out as needed.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric / Equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the motor industry

  • 2–3 years in a similar vehicle sales role


Skills and Personal Attributes

  • Strong sales ability

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Understanding of dealership policies and procedures
