Job Purpose:

To achieve monthly used vehicle sales targets through exceptional customer service, prospecting, negotiation, and closing of sales, while maintaining long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets

  • Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams

  • Build and grow an active customer base through cold calling and relationship building

  • Provide an outstanding customer experience from first contact to post-sale follow-up

  • Manage and resolve customer escalations efficiently

  • Accurately evaluate used vehicles

  • Understand and respond to current market trends and customer behavior

  • Negotiate terms of sales and close deals effectively

  • Provide timely and professional feedback to customers


Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • 3+ years experience as a Sales Executive in the motor industry

  • Code 8 Driver’s License (required)

  • Computer literate

  • Proven track record of meeting monthly sales targets


Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • Knowledge of used vehicle sales, evaluation, and dealership policies

  • Strong understanding of the motor industry and economic/market factors

  • Familiarity with Higher Gear or similar sales platforms

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Skilled in customer needs analysis and qualification

  • Self-motivated, professional, and well-presented

  • Strong administrative, time management, and prioritization skills

  • Ability to build networks and generate leads

  • Multilingual abilities (local languages) will be an advantage
