Main Purpose of the Role
To lead the execution of the national sales strategy via the Secure Sales Team, ensuring business growth, revenue generation, and efficient use of the Salesforce platform. The role includes managing sales operations, driving productivity, optimizing Salesforce data accuracy, and overseeing contract development nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Team Management & Optimization

Maintain 95%+ accuracy for key data fields in Salesforce.

Ensure a 4:1 pipeline coverage ratio.

Provide Salesforce training and coaching to the sales team.

Enforce and monitor Salesforce usage standards.
-
Audit data regularly and correct inconsistencies.
-
Generate and analyze Salesforce reports on performance, forecasts, and data quality.
Execution of Sales Strategy

Drive the achievement of sales targets through new client acquisition (minimum of 8 new client meetings weekly).

Contribute to the development and implementation of the national sales strategy.

Share best practices and support change management to align with the company’s goals.
Sales Structure & Capability Development

Ensure 100% training completion for new sales hires within 30 days.

Achieve 95% forecast accuracy each quarter.

Manage and enhance the business development function across multiple sectors.

Develop and maintain sales tools (presentations, brochures, show stands, etc.).

Implement and monitor performance improvement strategies and sales procedures.
Team Coordination & Operational Oversight

Coordinate activities between guarding and technology staff to leverage cross-selling opportunities.

Measure and improve staff performance at each sales stage: lead generation, presentation, pricing, closing, and handover.

Maintain up-to-date templates, documents, and process guidelines.
Contract & Safety Management

Oversee contract management processes.

Participate in safety planning, training, and compliance.

Promote and enforce health and safety policies at all levels.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
-
Matric / Grade 12 required
-
4-year professional or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Experience
-
5+ years in sales operations or business development
-
Proven success in managing large bids and tenders with corporate and government clients

Project management and negotiation experience
-
In-depth Salesforce CRM experience, including reporting and user management
