Purpose of the Role
To manage and lead the operations of a Tekkie Town store in West Street, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. The role includes team leadership, achieving sales targets, minimizing stock losses, and ensuring excellent customer service and store presentation.
Key Responsibilities

Drive store performance to meet or exceed sales and profit targets

Manage all aspects of store administration and reporting in line with company SOPs

Minimize stock losses and manage store expenses
-
Oversee and implement promotional activity and visual merchandising
-
Monitor and maintain brand standards and customer service levels
-
Coach, mentor, and develop team members, contributing to succession planning
-
Ensure operational compliance by all store employees
-
Take responsibility for store opening and closing procedures
-
Stay up to date with latest product trends and the unpacking process
Qualifications
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Experience and Competencies
-
Minimum 2 years of management experience in retail or a similar environment

Fluent in English and at least one other official South African language
-
Strong interpersonal, communication, and selling skills
-
High energy, goal-oriented, and performance-driven

Strong analytical and logical thinking

Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills

Ability to lead a team and work independently

Flexible and adaptable under various work conditions

Own transport and a valid driver’s license (advantageous)
