Role Purpose:

As a Stockroom Controller, you will manage stockroom operations with precision, ensuring efficient stock flow, reducing losses, and maintaining brand standards. Your role directly supports sales team performance and enhances the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock Room Efficiency:

Maintain a well-organized and efficient stockroom
Implement best practices for stock handling
Ensure easy stock retrieval and smooth back-office operations

Stock Management & Loss Prevention:

Maintain accurate stock records
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Control write-offs and manage loss prevention
Ensure damaged items do not reach the sales floor

Customer Service & Sales Support:

Enable availability of stock to support sales goals
Collaborate with the sales team to improve efficiency and service delivery

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure stockroom complies with OHASA standards
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
Adhere to all company policies and stock management protocols

Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
Minimum 2 years’ retail experience (luxury or fashion preferred)
Strong knowledge of inventory management and back-office procedures

Strong problem-solving and investigative abilities
