Job Purpose:
To create a positive and solutions-driven customer experience by understanding client needs and offering value-adding financial services, while strictly adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service that aligns with company standards and ethics

  • Comply with governance, compliance, and risk procedures

  • Accurately complete administration and reporting tasks

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining an acceptable cost-of-sales ratio

  • Identify growth opportunities within the client base

  • Drive product sales, including Life Insurance, Funeral Cover, Debt Protect Plans, and Health Cash Plans

  • Promote digital and self-service platforms to clients

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of FirstRand-approved products and application processes

  • Support teamwork, cost-efficiency, and inclusivity within your team

  • Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships


Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar sales role

  • Proven track record in selling life insurance and related financial products

  • Minimum 2 years of outbound call center experience, including cold calling

  • FAIS-compliant: FSCA-recognized NQF Level 5 qualification

  • Clear credit record
