Job Overview:
ANEW Hotel Roodepoort is seeking a well-presented and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Front Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering efficient, friendly, and professional service to guests during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay. This is a vital role in ensuring a positive guest experience and supporting the hotel’s commitment to service excellence.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Certificate (essential)

Minimum of 1 year reception experience (preferably in hospitality)

Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Tourism Management (advantageous)

Proficiency in MS Office and strong working knowledge of Opera system

Bilingual (advantageous)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Immaculate grooming and professional demeanor

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner

Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using hotel systems

Ensure all guest registration details are accurately recorded and payment is secured

Maintain guest profiles and update relevant information such as nationality statistics

Assist with guest reservations and inquiries both in person and over the phone

Maintain a tidy and professional Front Office environment

Support the Front Office Manager and Supervisors with reception procedures and administration

Handle guest concerns and provide effective solutions promptly

Adhere to hotel policies, grooming standards, and service procedures
