Role Overview

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at ANEW Hotel Capital, ensuring a friendly, efficient, and professional check-in and check-out process. The role supports front office management, maintains guest registration accuracy, and contributes to a positive guest experience that aligns with the hotel’s mission and success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Front Office Management with reception procedures using the appropriate systems

  • Ensure full familiarity with hotel and company policies

  • Maintain the tidiness and security of the Front Office area, including correspondence and registration details

  • Greet and receive guests politely, efficiently, and professionally

  • Ensure guest registration forms are completed correctly and information is accurate

  • Update guest profiles and manage payment guarantees

  • Maintain exceptional grooming, posture, and professional body language


Minimum Requirements

  • Approximately 1 year reception experience

  • Grade 12 / National Certificate minimum

  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Tourism Management (advantageous)

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office

  • Extensive knowledge of Opera PMS

  • Bilingual communication skills

  • Accountable, innovative, and motivational

  • Immaculate communication and interpersonal skills
