Role Overview:
Reporting to the Project Support Manager, the Project Scheduler will manage scheduling activities for capital projects, ensuring timelines and resources are optimally coordinated through all project phases. The role demands expertise in developing, monitoring, and analyzing project schedules using advanced scheduling software and project management principles.
Minimum Requirements:

Formal qualification in Project Management or related field (Diploma, B-Tech, or Degree)

Minimum 5 years’ project management experience with strong scheduling skills

Proficient with SAP Project System, MS Office, and MS Project
-
Solid knowledge of Enterprise Project Management tools
-
Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain baseline and master schedules
-
Ensure logical sequencing of project activities aligned with scope of work
-
Monitor project progress against schedules, identify delays or risks
-
Review and critique contractors’ schedules for compliance and feasibility
-
Integrate project plans across disciplines within multi-disciplinary projects
-
Utilize Earned Value Management techniques to assess project performance

Advise on corrective actions to keep projects on track

Participate in project and site meetings, providing schedule updates
-
Support knowledge transfer and best practices in scheduling

Maintain archives for scheduling future projects

Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) understanding

Earned Value Management principles

ISO 9001:2000 and OHSACT compliance knowledge

CIDB regulations and water industry legislation

Strong analytical and presentation skills
