Position Overview:
We are seeking two experienced and customer-focused Parts Salespeople to join our team in Kathu. These individuals will play a vital role in delivering accurate, value-driven parts solutions to our clients, while maintaining efficient order processing and excellent customer communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately identify customer needs using available technical information (e.g. serial/model numbers).

Generate, maintain, and follow up on quotes daily, ensuring prompt conversion to sales orders with correct pricing.

Proactively check regional stock availability before initiating emergency or airfreight orders.

Efficiently process parts orders and backorders, tracking and resolving any issues through to completion.

Maintain clear communication with customers regarding order status, backorders, and emergency parts.

Investigate and resolve grieved orders using SIS, and liaise with the JDC to understand reasons and find solutions.

Log reasons for non-converted quotes, ensuring all quotes are properly closed or actioned daily.

Create credit returns in line with company policy.

Maintain system accuracy on backorders and sales orders linked to outstanding POs.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience using SAP SD/MM modules

Strong Excel skills

Proven experience in a parts sales or technical support role

Strong business communication and interpersonal skills

Technical aptitude with customer-oriented problem-solving skills
