Purpose of the Role:
The Driver / Storeman is responsible for effective warehouse stock management, safe and timely deliveries to customers, and accurate data capture on the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Stock Control
-
Receive stock and spare parts into the ERP system

Manage all incoming and outgoing stock
-
Pick and pack customer orders accurately
-
Perform weekly cycle counts and quarterly wall-to-wall stock counts
-
Inspect parts for quality and defects
-
Correctly identify and handle Weir ESCO parts
Logistics & Driving
-
Load and unload delivery trucks
-
Maintain and operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly

Ensure timely deliveries to customers
Safety
-
Demonstrate full commitment to Weir’s “Zero Harm” safety culture

Follow all safety procedures and promote best practices in the workplace
Minimum Requirements:
-
Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with PDP
-
Forklift and Mobile Crane License
-
Computer literacy, including MS Office and ERP systems
