About the Role

Rola Toyota is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Creditors Clerk to join its finance team. You will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable function—verifying invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate is accurate, well-organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Creditors Clerk (motor industry experience is advantageous)

  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify and process all creditor invoices accurately and efficiently

  • Prepare and process payments and journal entries

  • Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies

  • Follow up on outstanding invoices, credit notes, and unallocated payments

  • Maintain accurate supplier transaction records and supporting documentation

  • Update and manage supplier lists and agreements

  • Process floorplan vehicle purchases and settlements

  • Handle trade and inter-branch stock and creditor transactions

  • Provide creditors age analysis and supplier reports

  • Assist with month-end closing and finance audit preparation

  • Reconcile petty cash and floats (Parts, Service, Driveaways)

  • Compile and submit monthly reports

  • Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department
