Job Purpose
To assist in rendering an efficient and effective Human Resource service for Region 1 by implementing HR administration practices, maintaining personnel records, and handling general administrative and office support functions.
Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualification:
-
Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent)

Recommended Additional Qualifications:
-
A course or certification in Office Management or Human Resource Management

Appropriate administrative experience
-
Valid Code B (or higher) driver’s license

Key Responsibilities
-
Administer HR functions including PERSAL transactions related to:
-
Leave, housing, medical aid, injury on duty, terminations, long service, overtime, pensions, allowances
-

Assist with recruitment and selection:
-
Advertisements, appointments, transfers, verification of qualifications, secretarial duties for interviews, probation monitoring

Handle HR-related enquiries and correspondence

Provide general office administrative support and typing
-
Ensure accurate record-keeping and document management
