Overview:
Join a leading retail operation as a Trainee Manager, where you'll support and assist the Store Manager in executing business strategy, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining effective store operations. This role is designed to prepare candidates for future store management responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric)

Minimum of 2 years retail management experience
-
Valid driver’s license
-
South African ID or valid work permit
-
Strong accounting and administrative skills

Computer literate
-
Proven leadership capabilities
-
Ability to work under pressure
-
Own transport and mobile phone
-
Solid knowledge of Health & Safety legislation (OHSA)

Sound Human Resources knowledge
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in executing store business and strategic plans

Support the achievement of market share growth and sales targets

Monitor and improve customer service and loyalty programs

Control stock, cash, fixed assets, and overall asset security

Support human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and employee relations

Maintain trading standards, merchandising, and store appearance

Monitor compliance with safety, security, and audit standards
