Job Purpose:

To provide efficient front office, administrative, and HR support services at the BTT Richards Bay Regional Office, ensuring professional customer engagement and smooth internal operations.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12 / National Certificate)

  • HR or Administration qualification (advantageous)

  • 3 years of experience in front office or administrative roles

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Key Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Professional customer service orientation

  • Problem-solving skills

  • High levels of confidentiality and integrity


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen, and redirect incoming calls in a polite and professional manner

  • Deliver messages and assist walk-in visitors by contacting hosts

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area

  • Promote a professional company image to visitors and callers

  • Manage access permits and office stationery orders for new staff

  • Distribute mail and coordinate courier services for outgoing documents

  • Keep internal telephone directories and short codes up to date

  • Assist with document tasks (photocopying, faxing, laminating, scanning, typing)

  • Provide administrative and HR support as directed by the HR Manager

  • Participate in internal communications meetings

  • Liaise with IT/Procurement for telephone-related issues
