ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity has become available for a Merchandiser based in Pietermaritzburg. The main objective of this role is to drive sales at store level through attractive product displays, sufficient stock levels, and promotional activity, all in line with company merchandising policy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Merchandising

Unpack and price mark company products at assigned retailers when needed

Ensure products are well-arranged, clean, and appealing to customers

Maintain adequate stock levels on shelves

Identify and report issues affecting stock turnover or poor sales performance
Promotions

Set up promotional displays as instructed

Support Regional Sales Representatives during in-store promotions
Stock Counts

Perform timely stock counts at designated stores before restocking

Assist with the bi-annual stock changeover process
Public Relations
-
Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times

Build goodwill and maintain strong relationships with store staff and customers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Valid Driver’s License
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a merchandiser – Essential
