ABOUT THE ROLE
The Receiving Clerk will form part of the Admin team at store level. The role involves taking full responsibility for maintaining the accuracy of the stock ledger, ensuring proper stock movement control, and supporting the smooth functioning of the store’s receiving process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and resolve issues that affect the accuracy of the Stock Ledger

  • Accurately account for all stock movements in a timely manner

  • Capture all Service Department production on Blue Cube

  • Maintain accurate in-stock status at all times

  • Perform daily Management Receiving Checks to ensure compliance and accuracy

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS

  • Admin and Sales Management training

  • Trainee Manager training

  • Cost Control Diploma

EXPERIENCE

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in retail or furniture store operations is desirable

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • 6–12 months of retail furniture operational knowledge is desirable

  • Strong attention to detail and time management

  • Familiarity with Blue Cube (or similar retail systems) will be an advantage
