Purpose

To provide hospitality, food, and beverage services during SARB functions and events.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, clear, and prepare venues (meeting rooms, boardrooms, function areas).

  • Serve food and beverages following food safety standards.

  • Inspect and ensure cleanliness before and after events.

  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, OHS&E).

  • Handle client service with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Address client needs and complaints appropriately.

  • Work independently and solve problems as they arise.

  • Maintain accurate records of breakages and lost items.


Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (NQF 4) or equivalent.

Experience

  • 1–2 years in a hospitality-related role.

  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.

Skills and Attributes

  • Good verbal and written communication.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and time management.

  • Flexibility and ability to work well in a team.

  • Problem-solving ability and proactive attitude.
