About the Position
Hyundai Richards Bay is seeking a professional and well-organized Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in both front-desk operations and bookings, and will play a key role in customer service and daily dealership coordination.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Bookings Clerk

Ensure all jobs are closed timeously

Cost jobs according to the flat rate manual

Assist Service Advisors during busy periods
-
Take service bookings when necessary
-
Efficiently manage booking diary (bucket system)
-
Coordinate with service advisors and workshop foreman
-
Maintain up-to-date and neat booking sheets
-
Provide accurate information and friendly service to customers
-
Obtain service plan and fleet company authorisations
-
Keep filing up to date
-
Send debtor invoices on time
Receptionist/Switchboard Operator
-
Answer incoming calls promptly
-
Ensure customer comfort in the reception area
-
Manage switchboard, transfer calls, and take messages
-
Limit wastage while maintaining reception displays
-
Oversee cleanliness and presentation of the front desk and dealership
-
Assist in managing cleaners and junior reception staff
-
Submit weekly/monthly reports to the Dealer Principal/Accountants

Assist with general admin tasks
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
-
Matric
-
3–4 years experience in a similar role (Reception or Bookings)
