Job Purpose

To operate production equipment in line with safety, housekeeping, quality, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

Safety

• Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and regulations

Quality

• Check for visual defects and measure basic parameters

• Make basic adjustments and take corrective action as needed

• Report complex issues to the Team Leader

Housekeeping

• Maintain cleanliness according to 5S standards

• Report damaged or defective equipment

Productivity

• Handover communication with outgoing shift

• Load raw materials and packaging on machines

• Operate machines and monitor output

• Record production information accurately

• Assist in changeovers and consumables

• Support the Team Leader when required

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or relevant N3

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to work effectively in a team
