Job Purpose

To conduct telesales for Discovery Life products by identifying sales opportunities, handling inbound and outbound calls, and meeting sales and quality targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve Life Sales targets

  • Handle communication with clients via phone, fax, and email

  • Conduct Financial Needs Analysis

  • Maintain high-quality performance and meet SLAs

  • Perform general administrative duties

  • Overcome customer objections

  • Persuasive and resilient

  • Excellent time management and attention to detail

  • Quick learner

  • Fluent in English and/or Afrikaans (neutral accent)


Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric (essential)

  • At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in outbound telesales

  • Minimum 1 year of Life product knowledge (Discovery Life experience is an advantage)

  • Computer literate (email, Word, Excel)

  • Tertiary qualification is an advantage

  • NQF5 and RE5 qualifications required
