Job Purpose

The Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall management of sales, marketing, operations, technical, and administrative functions within the branch. The role includes achieving budget targets, maintaining high operational standards, and working to reduce crime levels in the community.

Minimum Requirements

  • Post-matric qualification in General Management (Advantageous)

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Management (Advantageous)

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience at mid-management level

  • Financial knowledge of budgets, forecasting, and profit and loss

  • Grade B Security Certificate (to be obtained upon appointment if not already held)

  • Experience in the security industry preferred

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Provide strong leadership and direction for the branch and its employees

  • Communicate the vision and strategy of the branch

  • Make timely decisions to drive the long-term success of the branch

Finance, Planning & Controls

  • Submit budget plans and ensure targets are met

  • Prepare annual business plans and sales budgets

  • Manage branch profitability and financial forecasting

  • Oversee effective debt collection

Sales & Growth

  • Achieve branch sales targets

  • Conduct sales projections and set growth targets

  • Assist sales consultants in reaching targets

  • Manage client relations and handle complaints

Operations

  • Ensure effective planning and production controls

  • Improve productivity, quality, and customer service

  • Monitor customer service metrics and address issues

  • Ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence

  • Manage branch fleet to minimize disruptions

Marketing & Customer Engagement

  • Drive marketing initiatives and customer perception strategies

  • Enhance branch presence on social media

  • Foster relationships with influencers and community stakeholders

  • Ensure implementation of marketing and communication strategies

People Management

  • Identify training and development needs for staff

  • Handle HR-related issues and staff development

  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes

Business Development & Attrition Management

  • Identify opportunities for residential guarding and bulk sales

  • Manage branch attrition and reconnection strategies

  • Analyze attrition rates and implement corrective actions
