Purpose of the Job
Join Africa’s largest retailer, OK Furniture, as a Stock Clerk in our Admin team. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced furniture retail environment. You will take responsibility for maintaining an accurate Stock Ledger and ensuring seamless stock management at the store level.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Management:
- Maintain an accurate Stock Ledger by analyzing and resolving problems or discrepancies.
- Accurately and promptly account for all stock movements.
Production and Recording:
- Capture all Service Department production on Blue Cube.
Inventory Control:
- Ensure consistent in-stock status to meet customer needs.
- Perform daily management receiving checks.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric).
Desirable:
- Admin and Sales Management training.
- Trainee Manager training.
- Cost Control Diploma.
Experience
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of retail or furniture operations (desirable).
Skills and Knowledge
- 6-12 months’ knowledge of Retail Furniture operations (advantageous).
- Ability to work in a structured and fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.
