Job Opportunity: General Worker - Packing Department

Purpose of the Job
Ensure all aspects of the packing department are attended to according to safety standards and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
Packing and Palletizing:
- Remove materials and products manually from machines and equipment.
- Stack/palletize finished cases on appropriate pallets.
- Date code each case with the correct manufacturing date and shift information.
Material Inspection:
- Inspect materials and products for any defects.
Physical Labour:
- Participate in lifting, carrying, and moving heavy loads (±25kg).
- Perform general physical labour as required.
Work Environment Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Record-Keeping:
- Complete finished goods tickets neatly and accurately with all required information.

- Ability to work effectively in a team.

- Able to work with minimal supervision.
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12 with numerical ability.
Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in the FMCG industry.
Key Outputs and Conditions
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
- Able to withstand hot temperatures and flour dust in the packing area.
- Flexible to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- This is a 6-day position, requiring long hours of standing.
