Job Overview

As a Sales Call Centre Agent, you will act as the critical link between The Engine Room and its clients. Your primary goal is to promote products and services, provide personalized advice, and convert leads into sales, building long-term relationships rooted in trust and integrity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance:

    • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Sell a variety of value-added products, including Service, Warranty, Maintenance, Bodyline Maintenance, and Shortfall.
    • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
    • Conduct needs analyses to understand customer requirements.
  • Customer Engagement:

    • Offer personalized, honest, and objective advice to customers.
    • Build lasting relationships with clients.
    • Provide accurate information, empowering customers to make informed decisions.
  • Operational Standards:

    • Maintain 4 hours of talk time and 7 hours of productive time daily.
    • Adhere to sales scripts and quality assurance (maintain 90% QA score).
    • Ensure compliance with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and company policies.
  • Administration:

    • Keep accurate records of lead outcomes.
    • Stay updated on product changes and market trends.
    • Meet legislative requirements, including qualifications, CPD hours, RE5 certification, and Class of Business compliance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements:

    • Education: Matric certificate.
    • Experience: Minimum of 12 months telesales experience.
    • Fluent in English.
    • Fit and Proper as per DOFA requirements (e.g., RE qualification, FAIS Credits).
  • Preferred Experience:

    • Insurance background.
    • Service and Maintenance sales experience.
