Job Overview
Truworths seeks a motivated individual with experience in window dressing or visual merchandising to join the team. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment, a passion for fashion, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Display:
- Conduct window and in-store displays in line with Truworths’ standards.
- Keep up with current promotions, trends, and fashion insights.
Housekeeping & Maintenance:
- Ensure displays, models, and props are clean, stored, and maintained.
Customer Interaction:
- Professionally handle staff and customer queries related to displayed merchandise.
- Project a positive image through personal conduct and appearance.
Teamwork & Training:
- Actively contribute to team performance.
- Drive personal training and development.
Safety & Security:
- Follow security and store safety procedures accurately.
- Complete administrative documentation as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Skills:
- Display setup (building, painting, wiring, dressing).
- Ability to follow implementation manuals.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to adapt to constant changes.
Competencies
- Strong creative sense in fashion and color coordination.
- Good judgment to utilize space effectively.
- Ability to interpret and stay updated on fashion trends.
- Physically fit for tasks involving lifting, carrying, bending, and standing.
- Effective time management and improvisation skills.
