Job Description
Pick n Pay Woodmead Hyper is seeking a Shelf Packer to maintain stock standards, assist customers, and ensure cleanliness and organization in the store and warehouse. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to perform routine tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Shelf and Warehouse Packing:
- Pack shelves and bins according to set standards.
- Unpack, stack, and store stock safely with minimal damage in the correct layout.
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer requests courteously and professionally.
- Advise customers on products/services while maintaining a helpful attitude.
Hygiene and Cleanliness:
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within the warehouse and on the shop floor.
Operational Support:
- Be flexible and multi-skilled to meet operational requirements.
- Work shifts as needed to align with store demands.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Language: Ability to communicate effectively in English.
