Job Summary
Clover is seeking a Sales Representative for the Emerging Markets segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales of Clover and Principal products in smaller outlets. This exciting role is based at the Clover Clayville branch.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Volume and Customer Relationships:
- Increase sales volumes in assigned stores through strategic planning and sales techniques.
- Prepare and adhere to route plans and call cycles.
- Complete necessary sales administration and reporting.
- Liaise directly with customers at store level to address their needs.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relations to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Sourcing and Business Development:
- Source and maintain new business to develop an active customer base.
- Introduce and implement effective sales processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure constant stock availability and minimize stock returns.
- Maintain product facings and optimize the visibility of products.
Sales Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on sales volumes and product pricing.
- Record sales per outlet and product category, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Implement negotiated prices and monitor fridge compliance in stores.
Product and Promotion Management:
- Optimize the basket of Principal products and negotiate product mix for customers.
- Introduce new products and promotional material, arranging product launches and ensuring visibility.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4, with a National Diploma preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in a similar environment.
- License: Code 10 motor vehicle license.
- Language: Fluent in Business English.
