As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and service in a hospitality environment. This includes preparing and servicing guest rooms, corridors, and storerooms to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities
Room Maintenance:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest hospitality standards.
- Replenish and replace guest supplies and consumables as needed.
- Address special requests promptly and in line with company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned corridors, walls, floors, and housekeeping storerooms.
Service and Standards:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for room cleaning tasks, including bed-making, mattress turning, and vacuuming.
- Handle guest laundry in accordance with company guidelines.
- Ensure the removal of uncollected room service trays in your assigned area.
Communication and Reporting:
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
- Collaborate with the Room Service and Maintenance departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform under pressure.
- Good listening skills and the ability to respond effectively to guest needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Grade 11 or 12.
- Experience: 2–3 years of room attendant experience is advantageous.
- Additional Skills: Leadership abilities and familiarity with hospitality cleaning standards.
