Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join its Cold Drinks Equipment (CDE) department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fountain and coffee equipment to meet quality standards and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Main Outputs:

• Equipment Installation & Maintenance:

  • Install and remove fountain and hot beverage equipment.
  • Service, repair, and maintain fountain and coffee machines.
  • Conduct tests and calibration of equipment to ensure quality standards.

• Problem-Solving:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Customer Service Excellence:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction during installations, maintenance, and repairs.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Maintain safety, health, and environmental standards in line with SHEQ systems.

• Self-Development:

  • Proactively manage personal performance and growth.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Handle spare parts efficiently and apply strong hand-eye coordination.
• Execute advanced assembly and mechanical tasks.
• Understand and implement HACCP and food safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric or N3 in Refrigeration/Electrical.
• Registered Trade Test in Refrigeration.
• At least 2 years of experience in refrigeration, vending, or fountain maintenance and repair of commercial fridges.
• Valid Code 08 driver’s license (Code 10 is advantageous).
