Job Description
Cape Town Multifranchise is looking for two Light Vehicle Drivers to join their team. This role requires candidates who can plan their day effectively, provide excellent customer service, and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Driver include:
Collections and Deliveries:
- Ensure accurate and timely collection and delivery of parts.
- Adhere to traffic and road safety regulations during transportation.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean, roadworthy condition.
- Ensure the vehicle is serviced, fueled, and logged appropriately.
- Renew vehicle licensing annually and report any incidents, such as fines or breakdowns.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Check for damage, defects, or missing parts (e.g., spare wheels, tools) and report discrepancies to management.
- Update the vehicle logbook with accurate mileage.
Additional Duties:
- Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned by the department.
- Work overtime when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- Valid driver’s license with no endorsements.
Advantageous:
- Previous driver experience in the motor trade.
Skills & Personal Attributes
- Computer literacy and strong admin management skills.
- Effective communication and multitasking abilities.
- Dependable and detail-oriented.
