Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 1 year experience in a similar maintenance environment.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks on pipelines.
- Good communication skills.
Primary Duties
- Pipeline Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and repair of pipelines, valves, and meters.
- Patrol Duties: Conduct pipeline patrols by bicycle to ensure safety and identify potential issues.
- Standby Duties: Be available for emergency maintenance and repairs as required.
- Grounds Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds surrounding the pipeline areas.
- Cleaning Tasks: Perform general cleaning of buildings and offices as needed.
Knowledge
- General Maintenance: Understanding of basic maintenance tasks related to pipelines.
- Safety Procedures: Knowledge of safe working practices and safety regulations.
Skills
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with the team and supervisors.
- Bicycle Riding: Must be able to ride a bicycle for patrolling duties.
