Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Sales Representative to join our Masakhane Commercial Team in the Durban South area. The ideal candidate will focus on maximizing customer recruitment and onboarding while maintaining high standards of customer service within the Masakhane channel.

This role is pivotal in building an active and engaged customer base and ensuring smooth onboarding processes in alignment with company objectives.


Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Drive customer recruitment and onboarding within the Masakhane Channel.
  • Conduct visits to all appointments scheduled for customer recruits.
  • Coordinate the entire account application process to completion.
  • Develop a customer base by sourcing and onboarding new customers.
  • Introduce Clover products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Achieve a minimum of 125 onboarded/recruited customers monthly.

2. Customer Service Excellence:

  • Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service.
  • Address customer queries promptly and accurately.
  • Notify customers of account openings and relevant updates.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Area Managers on onboarded customers.
  • Facilitate a smooth handover process for new customers to relevant Sales Representatives.
  • Record and provide feedback on customers who were not successfully recruited, including reasons for rejection.

Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Business English.
  • License: Valid Code 10 driver’s license.
  • Residence: Must reside in Durban South area.
