Job Overview

The Spitz Group is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant responsible for providing top-notch customer service, assisting customers, and supporting store operations. The role reports to the Store Manager and includes cash handling, stock control, and fostering customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cash Control

   • Handle cash desk functions and ensure daily adherence to cash and banking processes.
   • Maintain zero cash variances and record all manual transactions accurately.

2. Stock Management

   • Follow daily stock control processes, including customer orders and weekly stock counts.
   • Ensure storeroom organization and complete weekly shoe pairing exercises.

3. Customer Service

   • Provide excellent service to build and maintain customer relationships.
   • Demonstrate strong product knowledge to assist customers effectively.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: At least 1 year of retail experience
• Qualifications: Matric/Grade 12 completion
• Additional Skills:
  • Retail administration, stock, and cash management
  • Sales and product knowledge
  • Understanding of policies for cash desk, stockroom, and admin
