Responsibilities

1. Breakdown Resolution & Technical Improvements

   • Resolve breakdowns and implement improvements on BIW equipment.
   • Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Health & Safety, and log breakdowns in SAP.

2. Quality Assurance

   • Support team goals for product, process, and system quality.
   • Contain problems to prevent transfer to internal/external customers.
   • Maintain required records and adhere to ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards.

3. Flexibility

   • Provide rapid response to breakdowns to maintain production volume.
   • Develop both electrical and mechanical skills to support the BIW environment.

4. Productivity

   • Implement measures to meet budget, volume, and productivity targets.
   • Drive continuous improvement for technical availability and timely breakdown reporting.

5. Human Resources

   • Share knowledge with colleagues to enhance team skills.
   • Take responsibility for personal skill development.

6. Environmental Compliance

   • Help achieve environmental targets (ISO 14000) and uphold BMW safety standards.
   • Ensure safety and maintenance compliance to prevent accidents or injuries.

Qualifications

• Education: National diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in electrical and mechanical maintenance within an automated production setting
• Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Expertise in automated systems
