About the Learnership

Senwes Grainlink is looking for enthusiastic and motivated young individuals who are interested in building a career in the agricultural industry.

As a Grainlink learner, you will gain valuable hands-on experience at one of the Senwes Grainlink silos while completing formal training that can prepare you for a career as a Junior Grain Grader.

What You Can Expect

During the 12-month structured learnership programme, successful candidates will receive practical workplace exposure and formal training, including:

  • On-the-job training in silo operations.

  • Grain handling and related administrative duties.

  • Exposure to different grain commodities, including maize, sunflower and soya.

  • Accredited training in grain grading.

  • Training in essential workplace skills such as computer literacy and communication.

  • Practical experience working in a grain silo environment.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).

  • Valid driver's licence.

  • Must be between 18 and 25 years old.

  • An interest in agriculture or technical fields.

  • Willingness to work at a silo.

  • Willingness to learn about grain handling and silo operations.
