Tiger Brands is currently inviting applications for a General Worker position at its Isando facility.
Purpose of the Job
The successful candidate will assist with general production and warehouse duties, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of housekeeping, quality, and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Performing general physical labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving loads of up to 25 kg.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Stacking and palletising finished products.
Inspecting products and materials for quality defects.
Completing quality control documentation when required.
Performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
Following all workplace safety procedures and protocols.
Wearing and complying with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards.
Assisting in resolving workplace safety risks.
Following all food safety policies and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate/Matric).
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
Medical and physical fitness to perform manual work.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
