Frontshop Controller Job Opportunity
Medirite Plus Soshanguve is looking for a Frontshop Controller to join its retail team in Pretoria.
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, hardworking and adaptable, with a passion for providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of a busy retail environment.
The successful candidate will interact directly with customers, assist with their needs, maintain the sales floor and ensure that frontshop operations are carried out according to company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
As a Frontshop Controller, your responsibilities will include:
Greeting customers and providing friendly, professional customer service.
Identifying customers' needs and recommending suitable products.
Processing customer payments using the store's Point of Sale (POS) system.
Handling payments and balancing sales and receipts according to company procedures.
Processing customer refunds accurately and efficiently.
Keeping up to date with new products and maintaining strong product knowledge.
Providing customers with relevant product advice and recommendations.
Restocking products and maintaining an organised sales floor.
Arranging and maintaining visual displays according to merchandising standards.
Conducting regular price audits and correcting price discrepancies.
Keeping up to date with promotions and special offers.
Maintaining the required visual merchandising standards.
Ensuring proper housekeeping throughout the frontshop and sales floor.
Responding to customer queries promptly and professionally.
Escalating customer complaints or queries to management when necessary.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the Frontshop Controller position, applicants must have:
Grade 12 qualification.
At least 5 months' Point of Sale (POS) / till-point experience in a retail environment.
A proven track record in retail sales.
Experience working both on the sales floor and behind the cash counter.
Good customer service and communication skills.
The ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment.
