General Worker Bread Packer Vacancy
Premier FMCG is looking for a dedicated General Worker Bread Packer to join its Production team in Cape Town. This permanent opportunity is ideal for individuals with production experience who can work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
2–3 years of relevant production experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be an advantage
Good communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
Packing bread and maintaining product quality
Meeting daily production targets
Maintaining high housekeeping and hygiene standards
Following all company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Supporting food safety and quality standards
Adhering to health and safety regulations
Assisting with the planned maintenance of production equipment
Completing production records and related administration
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Competencies

Ability to work under pressure
A commitment to quality and food safety
Flexibility to work rotating shifts
Working Conditions
The successful applicant will be required to:
Work rotational day and night shifts
Work Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays according to the shift roster
Work overtime when required
Perform duties in a hot manufacturing environment
