Purpose of the Learnership:
To equip learners with the knowledge, practical skills, and workplace experience required to become a Procurement Officer, responsible for:

Procuring and supplying goods/services
-
Managing supplier contracts and negotiations
-
Implementing and monitoring procurement schedules
Minimum Entry Requirements:
-
Must be unemployed
-
Must not be studying at any institution or enrolled in any learnership
-
Must not hold any post-matric qualification
(Applicants with undisclosed post-matric qualifications will be disqualified)

Matric (Grade 12) with:
-
Mathematical Literacy (Level 4 or higher)
-
English (Level 4 or higher)

Age: 18–35 years (in line with NSDSIII)

Must be a South African citizen with a valid SA ID
-
Must submit a SAQA/NLRD verification report (available from SAQA website)
Additional Criteria for People with Disabilities (PWDS):

Proof of disability is required (doctor’s certificate or signed ITRDD13)
