Job Purpose:

To provide excellent customer service at point of sale (POS), ensure accurate transaction handling, and maintain store merchandising standards to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the point of sale (till) efficiently and accurately
Handle cash and payments safely and responsibly
Promote and sign up customers for the Clicks ClubCard loyalty programme
Inform customers about promotions to increase sales
Deliver excellent in-store customer service as a brand ambassador
Perform merchandising and general housekeeping duties
Stay updated on products, promotions, and store events
Live and uphold Clicks’ values to support its vision as a leading health and beauty retailer

Knowledge & Skills Required:

Knowledge:

Basic maths and numeracy
Retail/FMCG background (advantageous)
Understanding of merchandising and stock management
Awareness of customer service best practices

Skills:

Good planning and organizing skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic computer literacy
Ability to solve problems and cope under pressure

Minimum Requirements:

Education:
- Essential: Grade 12 / Matric
