Job Purpose:
Support the daily food service operations by assisting with food prep, front-of-house service, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety and health standards. Ideal for someone passionate about service, teamwork, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation (salads, desserts, meals).

Serve food and maintain a clean, stocked serving line.

Clean canteen, kitchen, and service areas.
-
Store and record leftovers.
-
Support customer satisfaction and follow up on complaints or compliments.

Follow hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
-
Participate in stock control where applicable.
-
Attend required training and meetings.

Must be able to work night shifts.

Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) – Required

1–2 years' experience in a similar food service role

Culinary qualification – Advantageous
