About the Role:
This role is responsible for overseeing all inventory-related operational activities during a shift at the Johannesburg Distribution Centre (DC). The primary focus is ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient stock investigations, and streamlined supply chain processes. The role also plays a critical part in improving operational efficiency, achieving KPIs, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards while supporting and developing team performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure customer orders are dispatched on time and meet KPI requirements

Manage labour costs in relation to shift volumes and hours
-
Oversee housekeeping standards and ensure the team maintains them
-
Set clear goals for individuals and monitor performance
-
Review and improve internal processes to increase efficiency
-
Embed company values into daily team operations
-
Uphold inventory accuracy and manage stock investigations
-
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives

ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Qualifications:
-
Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (required)

Higher Certificate in Supply Chain or Logistics (preferred)

3–5 years of supervisory experience in logistics or distribution

Experience managing people and operations
-
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
-
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, in a 24/7/365 operation
