About the Role

Clicks Group is seeking a Service Advisor to ensure exceptional customer service and smooth front-end operations at the point of sale (POS). This role is key to maintaining service standards, managing cashier teams, and ensuring security and compliance procedures are followed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily POS operations

  • Ensure stock and cash handling are accurate and secure

  • Train and manage shop assistants/cashiers to deliver excellent customer service

  • Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally

  • Drive Clicks ClubCard sign-ups to meet participation targets

  • Implement housekeeping, administrative, and merchandising standards

  • Support the store’s sales and promotional activities

  • Act as a visible brand ambassador delivering a friendly, professional service

  • Maintain knowledge of current product ranges, promotions, and store events


Knowledge Requirements

  • Retail and FMCG operations, merchandising, and promotions

  • Financial management and POS operations

  • Stock control, cash handling, shrinkage prevention

  • Customer service principles

  • Labour legislation and basic IR practices

  • Competency-based interviewing techniques
