About the Role
Boxer Superstores is looking for a Junior Demand Planner to join their Head Office supply chain team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a passion for forecasting and planning, and a desire to contribute to inventory optimisation in a dynamic retail environment.
As a Junior Demand Planner, you’ll be responsible for supporting inventory and stock availability through accurate demand forecasting, promotional planning, and cross-functional collaboration with buyers, suppliers, and store operations.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with buyers to meet sales and stock targets

Forecast seasonal and promotional demand using planning systems

Manage supplier lead times and product review cycles

Monitor and reduce unproductive stock (e.g., overstocks, discontinued items)

Order stock for new store openings and promotional events

Track product performance and contribute to in-store planning

Maintain healthy stock levels in stores and distribution centres

Improve supply visibility and reporting for planning teams

Work with suppliers to improve delivery reliability and service levels

Support process improvements and attend relevant training sessions
Minimum Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in:

Supply Chain Management
-
Business Management
-
Finance
-
Or related fields
-
Experience
-
1–2 years in demand or supply planning (preferably FMCG or Retail sector)
Technical Skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with demand planning systems (e.g., F&R)

Familiarity with merchandise management systems and BI tools
-
Knowledge of BoMM system and reporting cubes (advantageous)
